Thanksgiving Point

With Grandma Kathy in town, Kerry and I decided to celebrate our anniversary a little early. We went and stayed at Thanksgiving Point and walked around the Tulip Festival. (Tulips are Kerry's favorite flower.) We had a great couple of days.

IT IS YOUR BIRTHDAY.

I can't believe our little boy is 10 years old. He was bummed that his birthday was on Sunday, but he had ended up having a fun day. He got some great presents and some gift cards. We are very proud of him, he is such a good boy.

Our Monkey Sadie

Sadie was in a play this week at school. She played a monkey. They sang and danced a lot. I wasn't able to go but Kerry said it was so cute.

A sign the Apocalypse is upon us...

We have been thinking about getting a dog for a long time but just couldn't do it. Until today. We adopted "Trey", a 10 month old beagle. I am not sure what we are doing. It is going to be quite an adjustment. Trey is very cute, the kids are thrilled. He knows a couple of tricks and is housebroken already so we don't have to do that, but there are lots of other things he needs training on. If anyone has any suggestions on training methods we would love to hear them.

He came with the name "Trey" and seems to know that name. I would have gone with "Dee-Oh-Gee" (say it fast). But anyway, "Trey" it is. The kids seem to be calling him "Troy" alot. Which is fine with me because then I can call him "Troy Bolton" and make Sadie scream.

Vernal = Spring Break

Colby has a report due soon on Duchane county. So... while we were all on spring break we went down to see the sights and do some research. I was afraid the town would be packed because it is spring break, but surprisingly it wasn't.




My favorite part was walking around the temple.

The kids couldn't swim enough.

They have a great dinosaur museum in Vernal.



It was a fun couple of days together. Vernal was not great, but it was good to be together.
