After a several year break, Tanner wanted to start soccer again. He is pretty good and by far the tallest kid. Here he is (#10) with his friend Adam (#13). I wish we could have gotten them on the same team. Adam is the best player on his team and could have really helped Tanner out.
We went to his first game Saturday with Kaden, Shelby and Grandma Kathy. They lost 4-3, but did really well. Tanner doesn't quite understand the strategy of it all, so Kerry and I were going nuts. We wanted to scream out what he should be doing and where he should be doing it, but didn't want to be 'those parents'. I have tried talking to him about it, am not sure how to get him to listen to me. If our lives were different I would try to coach the team. Kerry has decided she can't watch, she will be bringing a book to read the rest of the season.

Kaden had such a great time at the game. It was all he talked about ALL DAY and has been constantly kicking balls and asking when we can go to Tanner's next game!
