Our friends had a pregnant Guinea Pig. So now we have a Guinea Pig. (and one less friend). We named it "Magenta" even though it isn't magenta. But on the movie "Sky High" there is a Guinea Pig named "Magenta" - so ours is too.
Colby would like to keep track of how much it poops. You know, weigh the poop daily, store it, etc. I think there are other science projects we could be doing.

Right now the kids fight over whose turn it is to clean up the poop. They love the thing. I imagine their responsibility will last another week.
