Study your scriptures often

One of the guys I work with found this spider web on one of his students scriptures. That is how long it has been since the kid used them. If you look close, under the handle you can see the spider. (Maybe the student knows them so well that he doesn't have to get them out.)

What can Brown do for you?

I passed the test back in Feb. but didn't actually get my Brown Belt until last night. It is pretty exciting. I have been studying for about 5 years. I have only seen three other people become Brown Belts at our school, so it was kind of a big deal. My instructor, Master Aranda gave a little speech and told everyone how dedicated I was and how much I have grown since I first started. It is a new level of pressure now because even more than ever I have to be the guy who knows the answers or can demonstrate whatever technique the Black Belts want me to. But it should be fun and one more step towards becoming a Black Belt.

Easter Egg Hunt!

We had our Easter egg hunt a day early this year. Grandma Robb and I hid the eggs throughout the basement and then turned the kids loose. It was fun and we got lots of candy. (Notice Kerry's organized cold storage room.)

Kerry's Gators Win

Although she was sick and fell asleep, Kerry's Florida Gators won March Madness again. In our family contest her bracket won too. (She wins lunch at Costa Vida) Kerry had 1530 points, I had 1510, followed by Devon at 1100. In the nationwide ESPN contest, Kerry ened up in 412th place, I was in 1058th. Those seem like big numbers, but it is pretty good for millions of people. Sadie picked her bracket based on uniform color and ended up in 3 millionth place or so. The moral of the story is Kerry really knows her NCAA basketball.

EyeToy Eye Candy

We recently got an "Eyetoy" for our Playstation. It is a bunch of games that you play with a camera. It shows you on the screen and then you move and punch and kick. It is like exercise for video game nerds. (so I like it too.) Here are some pictures of the kids playing.
